Here at Wrae, we take pride in dry rendering our suet over low heat to preserve the nutrients and produce rich, nourishing tallow.

Unlike other companies, we don't use cheap trim fat which is soft, greasy, and usually beefy smelling. Our tallow is made from ONLY the suet, which is the hard fat around the cow's kidneys, which results in tallow that is solid at room temperature and has a pleasant slightly buttery scent. We also don't bleach, deodorize, or add preservatives to our tallow.
